Non-compete SEM Bidding Keywords - keywords on which publishers are prohibited from outranking the advertiser in their search marketing campaigns:
gmails com, windows mail, windows mail download, email client, gmail client, mail client for windows, download gmail, gmail download, mail client, email client for windows 7, email client for windows 8, email client for windows, email programs for windows 7, email programs for windows 8, g mail, install gmail, gmail desktop app, install email program
Direct linking - Publishers are NOT allowed to link directly to eM Client site from their search marketing campaigns.
Prohibited Web Site Domain Keywords - keywords that publishers are prohibited from using in the top-level domain of their Web site:
Affiliates must not own brand domain e.g. www.emclient.com or must not engage in typo-squatting, or own a typo domain. Domains containing brand “eM Client” and its variations, e.g. emclient, em-client, etc. are strictly prohibited.
Prohibited Web Site Content - keywords or types of content that publishers are prohibited from using in Web site content or meta data:
The Affiliate must not to operate or utilize a website, or email a link to a website, with following types of content: libelous, defamatory, obscene, abusive, violent, bigoted, hate-related, illegal, anti-brand messaging.
Unacceptable Web Sites - types of Web site content that will not be accepted into the affiliated program:
The Affiliate must not to use copycat sites, or use any content or images from eM Client website, except for content and images which have been expressly allowed for use by Affiliate Partners and supplied in the affiliate network interface.
Additional Promotional Methods
Incentivized Traffic allowed - publishers offer visitors compensations (cashback, membership points, miles, access to content or software) for purchase or advertiser offer completion.
Email allowed - publishers can use email marketing to drive links to your website. Following restrictions apply:
1. The Affiliate must not promote eM Client using spam. Each email sent by the Affiliate will contain clear instructions for unsubscribe from receiving future emails.
2. The Affiliate warrants that each addressee on an email list has opted-in to receive emails from the Affiliate and upon request by eM Client, the Affiliate will promptly provide verified opt-in statuses for all recipients of all current mailing lists used to promote eM Client.
3. The Affiliate must not use the eM Client brand name or typos in the “From” address line.
4. All Affiliate email correspondence must contain the Affiliates email addresses.
Software allowed - publishers can develop a browser extension for consumers that displays alerts via toolbar or popups, and may (depending on the distribution model) provide a link for the consumer to click, or redirects the browser through affiliate links when visiting a site where affiliate offers are available.
Sub-Affiliates allowed - publishers can operate a network of independent websites owned by third parties that operate collectively as an individual publisher.
Social Media allowed - publishers can promote your products or offers via social media sites, online communities or other social portals.
Coupons and Promotional Codes: publishers may ONLY use coupons and promotional codes that are provided exclusively through the affiliate program.
Special Instructions: publishers are strictly PROHIBITED from using fake coupons, promotional codes and deals.
